When comparing the Z vs Supra, the Z falls short in just about every category now:

- Supra has a nicer interior (BMW or not, you're delusional if you think the Z interior is better)
- Supra has better performance (manufacturer HP figures are closer to WHP, it also weighs less than the Z, faster 0-60)
- Supra essentially has better practicality from a sports car perspective (bigger trunk space)
- Supra has better tech (Again, yes it is BMW but are you really going to try and argue that Nissan has better technology than BMW?)
- Supra 8AT/ZF is a whole league above Z 9AT and now a manual will be optional

The ONLY thing the Z has (or I guess had) going for it is the potential for an incredible bargain in the sports car segment it's in. And this is coming from A CURRENT 370Z OWNER.
Don't care for the Supra interior. Looks too much like every other BMW. Love the blue Z interior.
Supra exterior is AWFUL and I would be embarrassed to drive one.
Toyota dealers don't know how to work on a BMW.
Few easy AMS mods (not saying it will be cheap) and the Z will be at 450HP.

To all my fellow Canadians, does anyone know if our prices will be launched tomorrow with our US neighbors?

I posted this on April 20. I was off by only $1,000.

Apr 20, 2022

Would not surprise me if the Performance is around $51K. A Q60 Red Sport is $59K. Same engine. Same factory. Made in Japan. Nissan just spent over $300 million renovating Tochigi. I would bet Nissan wanted to keep it under $50K but inflation is making everything skyrocket in price. Get used to the new normal.
We'll see after official numbers are released...

This dude made the exact same mistake as the other guy.
In this case, he is based in Europe (Spain) and they are hours ahead.
I am guessing he got the 16th correct but the timezone wrong LOL

This guy said Sport is 39,990 and Proto-Spec is 50k. Guessing Performance somewhere at 46-48k

Good review!

It seems launch control is not impressive. First review I’ve seen with someone slamming gears at full throttle…good stuff.
