yeah idk if thats lucky for americans tbh XD. the performance model being 10k more then the base. undercuting supra by a hair at msrp which apparently from what others are saying can get at under msrp in some areas not to mention markups (cough) some certain special someone charging 5k extra markup which puts performance right past a supra. hopefully canadian pricing is out this weekend also to make a decision to wait for this or not. also the 80k aud conversion for your driveaway is 55k usd. the 49,990 is excluding taxes/other fees lol
They better price good for us in Canada.

$50k in today's inflation sounds about right. I mean, whoever thought it was going to be $40k is delusional
I think 40k for base is ok. But 10k more for next model up? Ya, it better not be true. They will lose lots of customers.

Who thought this was going to be $40k? I don't think anyone was thinking that.

Can't say I'm surprised, but I'll 100% pass on buying the "new Z" for $50k. Maybe I'll wait a year and get a used one for $45k if the reviews say it's actually worth the money. Otherwise I'm going with something else.
Yup going with plan B is that's the case.

Just checked dude's IG.

He was confused, thought embargo was for 5/14 instead of 5/16.
Apparently some of the other Youtubers narced him out and he's in deep shit w/ Nissan apparently.

Edit: A higher up in Nissan that isn't easy to talk to or get to reached out to him directly.

If that is true they will have to sell the Performance in Canada for close to parity with the US price to get my money.
Agreed.
Low $50's CAD for a performance is my limit. Maybe $55 if the reviews are amazing.

$50k is around what I was expecting to pay in final, like with dealer mark up and taxes, NOT as the base
It’s showing 39,900 for base

That would be a hard pass for me. Shit, I'll just get me a C7Z.
I’ve been shopping for a C7Z myself. You will not find one anywhere near the mid 50’s. Maybe a salvage title one. Most are low 70’s and some mid 60’s with over 50k miles. A few years ago you could, but everything is so effed right now.
