hello all;

working on turbo upgrade for the winter here. My strategy is to buy most of the parts I need at the best price while sticking to the plan of a good chunk of extra hp while keeping drivability. Turbos coming this week and downpipes, probably catless soon after. Are larger injectors a must for around 500 whp? Also is there more that I haven't thought of yet? Spending $Can and buying from US is a challenge. Probably be at 10K before I pay a shop to install and set up.

it all depends on what your plans are. like, are you going to track it or is this just to get 500whp.

items like
aftermarket high and low pressure fuel pumps
full exhaust
intakes
upgraded intercooler
upgraded heat exchanger
or
air to air intercooler conversion
larger injectors
flex fuel kit
definitely a tune

some of those things , like intercooler I have considered but some like fuel pumps I haven't thought of. I'm not building a track car and the hp goal can move as the situation changes. I have the exhaust and necessities like injectors are top of the list. probably not going to flex fuel at all. Thanks for the help.

If you aiming for 500, I would first get all the foundational mods. Heat exchanger, LPFP and a flex fuel kit. Heck, with a tune and flex fuel kit can get somewhat close on stock turbos.

Get ALL the NISMO parts: Cold Air intake, exchaust, heat exchanger etc. AMS Doenpipes and
Z1 2023+ Z Low Pressure Fuel Pump Upgrade + Wires
Z1 2023+ Z Intercooler Coolant Pump Upgrade Kit
Z1 2023+ Z VRX70B Turbochargers + Z1 HKS BOV Kit
Addd ectek and a tune will get over 500RWHP. I got 437RWHP without the Z1 stuff but everything else.

I am having trouble with my transmission. Notchy, not smooth like my Z1 installed twin Turbo 370Z was.. When it gets warmed up, very very difficult to get into reverse. 1st gear a bit notchy also. MY dealer mechanic has been working with NISSAN USA to fix the issue. NISSAN USA says to try GTR Clutch fluid next. Doing that Thursday. I've had the notchiness even before I did any power upgrades.
