Here is my Z. I am in love with this unit. I’ve owned it new since April 2023. Canadian season is so short but have been able to put ~ 30,000km on it so far.

They have been great. I installed them at the preset height and set the dampening to mid (15 or 16 I think) and haven’t had any issues. They are stiffer than stock but by no means unbearable to any degree. A great amount of stiffness and lowering

I am rubbing through my fender liners in the front but that’s a crappy Canadian road problem more than anything.

You might want to check with SonicTuned about running intakes, ldp's and bigger exhaust without a tune. I could be wrong but it seems that I read that could be hard on your turbos.

Please feel free to correct me if there's info from pro's out there I've missed, and if you disagree with my assessments. Open debate typically works toward the common good.

What I'm gathering right now, going back to the Q50/Q60, is the Pro's "recommend" a tune if you change LDPs, especially if you're running a really free-flowing intake and larger exhaust. Reactions range from 'I've been running mine for thousands of miles without a tune' to 'I blew my engine.'

Based on what I know about turbocharged engines, opening up the intake and exhaust without taking other steps to control air/fuel more effectively can cause overboost and a lean condition. Neither of which are good for long-term engine health. Getting thrown into limp mode shows you there are issues that need to be addressed, but the lack of limp mode doesn't mean everything's good. The engine could be running right on the edge of limp mode constantly, making you think all's Kosher, meanwhile you could be constantly running lean and hot just below threshold, and slowly damaging bearings and other stuff.

MY OPINIONS, based on my average level of experience and slightly above average level of constantly researching and learning crap that interests me but does me no good in my daily life:
- Intake...No tune
- Cat-back...No tune
- Intake and cat-back...No tune if exhaust is smaller than 2.75" - Maybe, if 2.75" or larger
- High-flow catted LDP with stock intake/exhaust...Probably should tune
- High-flow catted LDP with intake and/or exhaust...Tune
- Open LDP...Tune

I realize you said this, but because the Hipermax S is in my top 3 right now, I want to confirm,
You installed them without loosening a collar or changing anything at all, correct?

@FSUZ33 Correct. I didn’t adjust the the height or preload or anything. Just made sure collars were locked in. Only adjustments I made was the dampening to mid to ensure it was in fact at mid.

I would say this is very consistent with the overall groups knowledge. If you change "air flow" in or out... Keep in mind you, you might need a tune.... "I've been running mine for thousands of miles without a tune' to 'I blew my engine." Lol Sounds bout right

Of course a salesman that tunes cars recommends you get a tune LOL!!!!

I've had no issues and my car is the FrankenZ. Catless LDPS, STILLEN exhaust and a Trucontrol with Z1 drop in filters.

Hate me!!!!!

I ordered the same Artwork Body kit. Looks amazing.

Long lead time from Canada though. I'm almost halfway through the wait time. I've also got the same wheels. You have good taste! 👍
It’s pretty good. Double check all the pieces and hardware when you first get it. I recommend measuring the hardware to ensure you got the right length. They accidentally sent me some bolts that were 5mm short and I struggled for way too long before I realized they were short. The customer service was super good to fix the issue and replace the hardware.
Lots of drilling into your bumper and side skirt. I would recommend doing rivnuts if you can. Having to peel the back of the side skirt and snake your hand into the cavity to hold a nut gets old quick.
