I received my Silvers 2 way coilovers after a very short wait. Just want to give a shout out to Silvers. They are a great company to work with, super responsive and open to any custom requests, A+. And fast!!!
So the goal of this wasn't to lower the car, and didn't need anything excessively high end as I am not racing this car. I wanted to try different spring rates and to have full control of the damping setting. I didn't think the stock Nismo suspension was that bad until I drove with the Silvers, Its miles ahead. I went with 16k F and 10K R on a true rear coilover and rubber upper mounts to keep NVH down. In short the car feels amazing so far, a complete opposite from stock. Stock would feel sporty but would completely blow through all the travel on a big compression event. This feels opposite, the ride is smooth but the damping is very controlled and tight on big bumps and dips, feels like it will never bottom out. NVH is only slightly increased, not a big deal. I ended up setting the car 10mm lower than stock as I like to rip a lot of bumpy back roads. I am still setting the dampers up so these are just initial impressions, my car feels like a sports car not a boat..
