If you’re not then I’m definitely not 😂

I looked deep into it and all it is...is just the sensor harness was installed upside down on the passenger side of the bumper( there are 5 sensors in total this was just one I believe) this makes it less sensitive or possibly not even detecting the impact on the side. I hate the popper system so no way im gonna have the dealer take by bumper off and have my car to fix something I wished didnt work to begin with

just my 2 cents everyone can make their own decision

I figured it would probably take days/weeks for the part to arrive so I went to bring it home in the meantime. Surprisingly the part arrived this morning and they were in the midst of putting it on. They sent a video of it…I thought it was some small sensor thing—it looks like the whole friggin’ bumper! I’m going to get it now. Is there anything I should check that might be problematic compared to original?

Ya probably not doing this as well, unless the sensor or whatever keeps beeping off. So far nothing and in storage for the time being

My hood poppers popped while driving. I took it in to the dealer on November 7th. Still waiting as they can’t get the parts. Turns out both airbag poppers have to be replaced. .

Wow! There they are! A rare sighting of the impossible to locate poppers! My dealership still doesn’t even have a lead on getting them in smh

I was driving around 25 mph and there was a dip in the road. Not even a big dip. The front didn’t even scrape or bottom out. Totally freaked me out lol

I feel like this will be a constant and fairly common issue with these cars as they get older.
