OP you could definitely get a '25 for Under $50K before tax and license, even better for a '24 but incentives are different. My recent new '25 Performance Manual was discounted $3820 plus $2500 incentive and that's in CA which is normally higher pricing.

If you're willing to ship around $800-1200 shop around across the US. If you found the color and trim you really like, even 1K shouldn't make a difference in the long run, getting what you really want. Good luck and share what you scored.

If you leave with the car, they made a profit.

Here's my calculus for my "Pissed off level".

Car price $45k vs $44k if I would have dickered better. (Mild frustration).

Car is $45k, but they slip in "Scotch guard treatment, glass etching treatment, blinker fluid service" for a total of $500. (I will be SUPER PISSED!)

Don't sign that "VIN etching, scotch guard" BS! If they say "We already etched it," tell them to F off, and give you a discount on account of the scratched glass!!!!!

You can also tell them your lowest price BUT, they need to toss in the tonneau cover and new gas struts for the hatch for $1.

Is the $50,250 before tax?
$52,250 - $5K + $947 is $48,177. If $50,250 is before tax they're hiding an additional $2K somewhere.
Whether it's for me/wife, or a fleet vehicle here at work, I never decide on a vehicle without seeing a formal quote or buyer's order. And if you're financing through them, they'll try to get you to focus on focus on MSRP, discount, and payment. They're counting on you to not do the math and miss the hidden stuff. With a formal quote or buyer's order they have to detail everything.

At the end of the day, you're always going to find someone who paid less. On the flip side, there's always someone who paid more. Research, shop, do what you're comfortable with, and don't look back.

Do it like a deciding on a Disney vacation. Decide. Do it. And don't ever compare your pre-Disney and post-Disney account balance. All it does is cause you regret going and make you forget the fun you had.

OP, this is what you should buy. This is close to the deal I got, I paid 41k plus tax for a performance manual 2024. You won’t find another deal like this.
Pardon me I misread your post before. I called and yup they really wanna sell it, here is the catch its $2000 to ship it to me, so considering its 2024, I think Id be better off working on a 25 as the 26s come out. Thank you for the much needed help, and your patience.

In my opinion and experience, If you really want to get the best deal wait later this year. The 2025 models are only going to decrease in price as 2026 approaches. Let me give you my example. I reside in Oregon, and all performances within a 500 mile radius they wanted no less then 55k. I was in the market from December 2024-January2025. Well I contacted at least 35+ dealerships around the country and found the best deal out in Nebraska. I paid 44k for a brand new 2024 performance white/black with red interior, six speed, and all the premium packages. Sure I paid 1700 bucks to ship the car in an enclosed trailer but I saved approximately 10k. Not sure if you’re willing to wait or not. Just imagine having an extra 10k for mods for your Z.
Winter is the best time to buy a sports car at year end or January of new calendar year. A 2025 will need to be moved off the lots in January 2026. I got my 2024 sport for 39K in Jan 2025.

If it’s within a days or two drive, why not fly and drive it back? I did that for my GTR several years back, was an amazing trip. Make them an offer, fly out and drive that bad boy home.

Solid!! I will just wait a few weeks. I just got another quote for the same car 57495 after rebate with tax.... Sounds like a ripp off.....
They will come around. Of the dealers in my driving range (Atlanta - Charlotte), Atlanta gave me the most BS. Charlotte dealers were straight shooters and gave the best initial offer. I was able to hit my target (MSRP-$2k) back in April before the $2,500 cash incentive.

I ended up buying local and their initial offer was $61K (MSRP $55,250) with BS dealer add-ons. I ended up paying $53 +tax, tag & title with the bs dealer add-ons listed below.

So with the $2,500 cash incentive i think MSRP - $5k is a reasonable goal.

Any information on when the 2025 will stop production or it already has? I am still looking for my white sport trim in manual.

Importing into Calif is a pain from what I read. I have considered over the years ...

you got this car/sticker at under 50k OTD in CA? Recently? I've been email negotiating pretty hard, far and wide (mostly in the state though b/c import pain) and the best price I have so far is 52400 OTD....

Two dealers independently have told me that they won't get anymore 2025 models this year. IDK if it's true or not. I've been shopping for a couple weeks and seeing some of my bookmarked cars sold off....
