The one that started it all. I did not know there was a new Z. Saw this in the showroom and texted this pic to my wife. She said “we have to get that.” Took delivery the next morning with 8 miles on it. Did not even do a test drive! Friday was the one year anniversary.

But still love my 71 Datsun 240Z for that pure rawness of a sports car. I will have to say that after purchasing the New Z, I realized just how much they had it right way back in the first generation. I enjoy both equally for different reasons, although they share that Z DNA ....... glad I didn't have to chose

I used to like seeing 370z with black or carbon fibre wrapped roofs, now that they put it on the new Z, i like full solid color now hahaha

I live in CA and bought my Z in AZ. This photo is from a rest stop along I-10 in AZ the day after I bought her and probably only a couple of hundred miles on the odometer.

How was the process to buy in AZ? I almost bought one in AZ too since my GF lives there. The stories I read about the experiences people had was the deciding factor.
