Ordered a 2027 Z

I custom ordered a 2027 Performance 6sp in Bayside Blue with a Tan interior here in Fort Myers, FL in August. Went in with my build sheet ready to do the haggle dance. My opener was I'll give ya $800 over dealer invoice. Was expecting some push back but GM came and said I'll make that deal with you. Had to pluck down $2000 to set the order. I'm happy with that outcome. The dealer called me a couple of weeks later and said, look we just got some 2027's in plus a Nismo if you want any of them. I went down to look at them and sit in one to see how I was going to fit since I'm 6' 2". At least I got to see the same color car with the tan interior but it was an automatic. I'll wait for mine to come in soon.

Did the dealer give you a timeline for your exact order? And make sure they stick with your offer.

I just realized that the Bayside Blue and the Gun metallic colors have the same paint all around. In other words, not the black roof. The car looks way better that way...

good to see dealers are ordering Z‘s without a customer order.

sounds like you are not obligated to buy the car you ordered as long as you buy a Z on the lot?

Any body received a Shinkai Green Z yet? I am on the list for a Shinkai Green M/T Performance Z from Pinnacle and I'm wondering if there are manufacturing delays. Mine was scheduled for October and I haven't heard any updates about it yet.

You ordered from " Nismo Nick"? Good luck ever seeing that car. Dude claims he's getting over 20 Zs in green? Lol yeah right....

Any body received a Shinkai Green Z yet? I am on the list for a Shinkai Green M/T Performance Z from Pinnacle and I'm wondering if there are manufacturing delays. Mine was scheduled for October and I haven't heard any updates about it yet.

Are they doing a dealer transfer for it? I show 3 Shinkai Green Performance trims scheduled to drop in November near Pinnacle. Nothing at Pinnacle October or November (yet).

I got a screenshot of the invoice when I made the reservation which provided a manufacturing window for October. Delivery date is still a bit of an open question because without the VIN there's no way to know if it was built at the factory yet. I expect something like a 4 week turnaround but not knowing if it's being built yet has me a tad impatient, haha

I originally ordered the green in August and was told after a week that nissan is having manufacturing issues with that color and it will be past October earliest, I then changed my order to the boulder grey and got it a few weeks later and been living happily ever after with my gorgeous z. It’s very odd to have the green on all posters but not being able to deliver it… best of luck

Changing your order makes sense in that regard. Glad you're enjoying your Z! Green is a favorite color of mine so I think my stubbornness will win out. I just haven't noticed anyone owning a green on this forum or the subreddit so I was wondering if this was a larger manufacturing trend.

I ordered a Green one here in Canada. Placed the order late August. Haven't heard a thing since then. But I dont want it until the spring so that gives them 9 months. Kind of have serious doubts theyll deliver many of these cars.

If it never shows, Nissan just saves me 65K CAD, oh well.
