What Oil Filters yall use? I'm looking at Mobile 1. Chat GPT and Google are saying M1-110a. Autozone and Napa are saying M1-108a. I'm reading the VR30 uses the 110a for more capacity and to deal with heat better. Both will fit, just the 108a will have a lesser life.

None of the aftermarket filters have the correct bypass pressure rating. Nissan does this to protect the turbos from contaminants. Its unfortunate since I typically prefer running filters with 99% efficiency @ 20 micron (as info, Mobil One filters are 99% @ 30 microns).

The correct filters (3) for the VR30 are: Nissan 15208-65F1A/B/E

So which model number are you guys running?
A is what comes installed from the factory, B is made in Japan by Mahl (with a nearly exhausted supply, a few vendors on eBay still have them). Most dealers have the E in-stock (made in Mexico by Gonher - heavier w/nicer internal louvers).

B vs. E:

And if you're doing your own oil changes and have any significant powertrain/engine mechanical warranty issues you want to be able to show OE Nissan parts were used with a receipt printed by the dealer for authenticity.

I’m sure the Mexico quality is just fine - burr free and well cleaned with no metal shavings.

I run the Japan version - i prefer the Japanese over the Mexican lengo- i bought the car with a japan filter…

you won’t find this picture on-line showing the “made in mexico” side…
