While my Z was idling on the drive way after about 5 minutes or so I went to move it over on the drive way and right when I came to a stop the water temp was reading about 166 and randomly blinked with a red box around the water temp text and beeped about 3 times...everything seemed fine? No...
And if you're doing your own oil changes and have any significant powertrain/engine mechanical warranty issues you want to be able to show OE Nissan parts were used with a receipt printed by the dealer for authenticity.
Had my BSM OFF indicator turn on when driving along stretches of road with guard rails close to the road and my lane keep off flicker when driving into blinding sun or reflections. Owner manual goes into details some environments will trick up the driver support systems.

While Ive driven plenty of modern vehicles with nearly fully electronic controls all my sport cars have always been fully analog with real physical input between all driver and car connections. No or bare bones safety systems and limiters.

With the unit off, spin the volume knob a lot in both directions. Sometimes that can get the conductive part of the knob/potentiometer to snug up better and stop it from jittering.
My 26 MT Sport hatch release acts like this from time to time right off the dealer lot (even when on the dealer lot lol) otherwise works just a little fussy, haven't really considered it to be a problem.
Which is funny considering all the pre-launch automotive columnist and reviews I recall a common theme being that the Z felt too "soft" to them. Feels great to me how it be already. The OE setup on the RZ34 is far stiffer than the OE setup on my stock Z32s. Except for the TT's "sport" setting...
