Water temperature warning randomly blinked and beeped

While my Z was idling on the drive way after about 5 minutes or so I went to move it over on the drive way and right when I came to a stop the water temp was reading about 166 and randomly blinked with a red box around the water temp text and beeped about 3 times...everything seemed fine? No mods.

Anyone else see that before?

Sounds really bizarre and I didn't know the Z could even do that. 166 ℉ coolant is too low for idling five minutes during summer. The ECU's thinking the temp should be higher like in the 180 - 190 range.
