All-new 2023 Nissan Z MSRP to start at $39,990
Latest generation of Nissan’s iconic sports car set for U.S. sale this summer

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Nissan today announced the MSRP1 for the latest iteration of its "attainable dream car," the 2023 Nissan Z – $39,990 for the Z Sport and $49,990 for the Z Performance. Both grades are scheduled to arrive at Nissan dealerships nationwide in Summer 2022.

"The Nissan Z is our company's heart and soul, bringing sports car design, performance and excitement to a broad range of buyers, starting with the introduction of the first generation more than 50 years ago," said Michael Colleran, senior vice president, Nissan U.S. Marketing and Sales. "With a starting MSRP of less than $40,000, this latest version is ready to create a whole new generation of Nissan Z fans when it comes to market this summer."

The 2023 Nissan Z is offered in Sport and Performance grade levels, along with a special “Proto Spec” edition. Limited to 240 units for the U.S. market, the Proto Spec edition will feature a special plaque, as well as exclusive interior and exterior features, all paying homage to the Z Proto launched in 2020. All grades are equipped with a 400-horsepower 3.0-liter V6 twin-turbo engine and choice of 6-speed manual transmission or a new 9-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters.

Where is the extra $10k coming from between a sport and performance? I don't see it. $50k puts it right into a spot where it is against fierce competition. That competition which will beat out the Z in their own ways.

I think most of us knew this. Sorry, I just couldn't see the Performance being 45k. I personally don't think $50k is too bad.
Said it in the Aussie page…I think the issue is most of us are still living in the 80s and 90s…but we are not, and prices change
what is interesting, is the difference between your Performance and proto is only $3000 which is around $4400 Aus, yet our Proto is $8000 more than the performance/coupe version

I was reading all the complaints on Sunday in the speculation thread and was glad I wasn't the only one let down by the 10k price jump since I talked about my disappointment in my video lol. I was shocked, I was expecting mid-upper 40s too. I really hope they offer the Sport interior with Performance hardware at some point down the line once the blank check buyers get theirs and the market finally cools off.

Nissan cash grabber tbh feels like. They are definitely pricing this as a new car with brand new parts and such but huh? Infiniti motor, 370 interior with a screen and a refined z34. 🪦 to the hype

A $12K CAD premium for the Performance over the Sport. 🤢

i was really hoping to get a performance for around $45k. Not spending $50k on it. If someone could explain the 10k dif in actual cost of parts that would be great. It is nice that people can choose a stick or auto and no price dif. Guess i'll be waiting for a manual sport at no ADM. So that will be in a couple years or so. hopefully less.
