Maybe if they do a mid-year (2026.5) drop. I hope they do, but at least for 2026 I think it's another year of wishful thinking.

Also interested in that Q50, would be a nice sports sedan, but wonder if the chassis can keep up with the power and manual. A good wake-up call for Nissan enthusiasts if it delivers.

This might be the best feature:

"The clutch pedal is heavier than in the standard Z Performance trim, and the shifter has a solid, mechanical feel. It’s not buttery smooth - the gearbox has some notchy engagement - but that imperfection is part of the experience. Every gear change feels deliberate, every shift rewarding. "

Way to notchy for my taste. I prefer my previous GR86 MT all day everyday. I love the car regardless.

Am I the only one skeptical of this article? (because everyone else already knows it's clickbait)
I was thinking how the article doesn't show any pictures of a NISMO. Also, if it were already available, you should be able to see it on the Nissan website.

One of the comments below the article questions the pics as a Perf and the author of the article responds that it is in fact a NISMO and he took the pics himself. You could say it's bogus because the car's literally a Perf, but the proof for me is that it is completely and absolutely unimaginable that Nissan would create a NISMO vehicle without at least one prominent NISMO badge on it somewhere.
