was just digging into this and the performance pad hasnt increased. so this isnt some tariff thing I dont think. my guess is they priced them wrong from the get to?

D1060-6HH0B is the performance and is like $111 MSRP with shops selling them in the 70's like the NISMOs were.

I agree, they must have been priced wrong from the beginning, at $65 a set that basically free.

does anyone remember what the OEM NISMO pad MSRP was before this change. just trying to figure out the increase seems to be about 300%

I noticed the same thing. I got them for $88 after tax. I was shocked that they were so cheap. I knew something had to be wrong. I just burnt through another set on the track, and tried to order new ones, but after seeing that they were $250, I decided to go with Carbotech XP8 for front and back, to see how they perform.

Does anyone have any brake pad suggestions for the Performance model? Assuming everything else is stock.

Good write-up, and i agree with the confidence of OEM pads.
I have Project Mu SS Brake Lines all around, and they definitely helped with Feel.

P.Mu was doing R&D into the front brake pad (rear is the same as performance and they have the size), hopefully getting an update here in the coming weeks / months.

I was considering getting P.Mu SCR Pro rotors for the front and SCR for the rears.
Hey mate,

Can you confirm the braided brake lines from Project Mu were one of these:
BLN-040BG (Green), BLN-040BC (Clear) or BLN-040BS (Smoke)

Sorry I'm struggling to get any info for the Nismo.
