I just added the red NISMO start stop switch to my Performance. It took about 15 minutes to and was pretty straightforward. The part number is 25150-6GR0A I ordered it from my local dealer, but you can find it cheaper online.

I like it! I just watched a video on YouTube earlier today on how to do this too (maybe it was yours?).

No that wasn’t my video, but I used it as a guide.

Did the same. Looks better than the stock black button, would like to see if they come out with the red S-mode button.

I bought the parts to do this but never did because I was worried it’d clash with my blue interior. Would love to see an example of how these look with the blue.

Do you need to remove the shift knob to do?
I don’t believe so, no. You can’t take that piece all the way off with the manual and leaving the knob on but there is still plenty of room to unscrew the old one and put in the new one.

Literally the only thing I dislike about this car is how dark the knob/button areas are. Some serious color or light is needed in all those areas. The red start button is a big improvement.

You don't have to remove the knob. I did to change out the shift knob. It made it easier to install the button. Also removed the knob with 2 strap wrenches. No damage to original, just a little elbow grease.

That shift boot looks great! I have the read interior as well. Wanted to do the button, shift knob and ebrake.

Looks great, is there a custom red button for the rev match button? the nismo only comes in auto so I figured there's only a red drive mode button but maybe Nissan predicted people would like the red buttons, maybe they made an OEM red S-mode button?

I haven't seen relating to it on the factory website. Maybe once the NIsmo is produced in manual, it will become available.

Looks like based on this an OEM red S-mode button is not coming.
