Hello all!

Happy New Year ??
Wish you each the best for 2025 ✨

I'm interested in getting a film for my mirror
Mainly to minimize glare during night drives

Given the car is low and every car is a massive tall SUV, I'm consistently getting blinded on my side mirrors

Doing some.research, I found the part number from Nismo: https://www.nismo.co.jp/products/web_catalogue/exterior/multi_function_blue_mirror.html#z

I'm wondering if anyone has these
Is it the correct part number (seems to be for the Nissan leaf too)?
How are they?

TIA.

The provided adhesive pad is insufficient. You will need to apply a stronger film.

You will notice that the left mirror will cause distortions, as it designed to show a wider field of view.

Initially I regretted putting mine on, but after getting used to them, I like them.

Thank you Hubert.
I read that the adhesive isn't the best and will look for alternatives.

Could you confirm that this is the right part number for our RZ34, 9636S-RNE20?

Also, how are they in terms of reducing glare?

My left mirror detached after a few washes with the supplied tape, so I applied strong double-sided 3M cushioned pad for the entirety of the mirror, and now its there for good.

They indeed reduce the glare as advertised. The annoying thing is that the left mirror is not designed for LHD cars, so it will have a "wide field view".

To compensate, I have my left mirror tilted all the way to the left, so the distortions get minimized when you look at it at that angle. (If you look at it more normally, it will give you a headache, because the objects look distorted). However, when you move the mirror angled all the way to the "left", then you get the wide-view and the distortions get minimized, making the reflections look "normal".

Just remember, "Objects in mirror are closer than they appear"!

Awesome, thank you, Hubert.

Appreciate your feedback, really need to think this through now given the distortions with the Nismo Mirror

Hey Guys there's this company that can make left hand drive blue wide angle mirrors the only issue is that in order to make them they need to have minimum 10 preorders, they are a good company. I used to have some on my 2021 Type R, and it is a direct replacement so no adhesive needed.
The company's name is Suma Performance.
They just need enough people asking for them to make them. Anyone Interested?

Hey guys, are you seriously interested in the Sumo mirrors? If so, I'm happy to coordinate an order. I'm also interested. I've been told it'll be $150-$250 per set depending on features. I'd assume we'd want to do the top sets but I'm waiting on a cost/feature breakdown.

Both mirrors aren't wide field of view? the nismo description seems to imply both mirrors are wide field.

Question. Does the heating element come in the mirror? I know the stock performance mirrors defrost when its wet and fogged up
