The latest teaser from Ford doesn't sound the same to me. Still a coyote, but the clip released today sounded like a 5.0 with open active exhaust or at least less restrictive. It's rumored the 7th gen will have nearly 500hp.

Can't wait. We'll see how much weight the car has gained (hopefully none) and what lies ahead.

Active exhaust sounds about the same, at least how with the Borla is, same soundtrack as mine when opened up Sport+ .

My biggest concern is how much weight it gained. Hopefully little to none.

Most likely all that was done was an ECU tune.

Here is Australia a company called Tickford does a tune for 2018+ models and gains 61kW (82hp) and 76Nm (56ft.lb) over stock for a total of 400kW (536hp) and 632Nm (466ft.lb) for a couple grand tune.

I am sure something similar would be available in the US.

So if that can be done aftermarket to get those gains the more modest gains from factory by Ford should also be easily done with just a tune.
