Hello,
I finally did it. Bought a new 2025 Z Performance automatic pearl white with 9 miles on the odometer. It was a grueling process that took about two months. Not easy to deal with dealers here in Southern California. Surprisingly some still charge a markup. Finally all worked out.
This is a great forum.
Thank you all for your input.

Congrats! You finally pulled Z trigger :) honestly you won't be disappointed, this Z still has deep Nissan roots and that's what still pulled me in. I see you've owned several Datsun/Nissans in the past, you'll appreciate the refinement in this now-GT Z while still not overdone on the electronics.

I came from several 240Zs and G35 ownerships, still has a 240Z. The new Z's styling is just gorgeously heritage even if the stock performance is not optimum, mainly handling and braking, enough power though! And....this is a great forum to belong to. Keep us updated on your upgrades and drives.

Could be true sooner than later, I hope. People I run into most say they haven't seen the new Z anywhere, or even asking what it is. Plus if this is the last true ICE Z with twin turbo nonetheless, I see the possibility.
I think that’s the way they’ll go. Mine was on the dealer floor for 7 months before I came along. They haven’t had one since. That was October 2024. Always turns heads.

The Supra also is decently hard to find, there were more last year, was easier to buy my manual m3 surprisingly, was only a handful of them in the country.

Part of me hopes we’ll see a Silvia or something cool make it to the US. But I doubt it.

right now there are 1,400 new Zs for sale. 958 of them are 2025, the rest are 2024. Only 581 are manual.

compared to the Supra, only 573 for sale, 301 are manual.

There maybe hope with Ivan Espinoza heading Nissan but IF Nissan can pull itself out of its own hole with more funding. Ivan is a car guy and hinted Nissan performance and previous model names should be injected back into the brand. Hoping..... I'm not giving up yet!

I hope too. Always wanted a GTR. Those are going in the high 200k-low300k now, it’s wild, Like the rest of us I’m sure.

the new armada is good, the frontier is good, Toyota is only producing trash now, so I haven’t written off the brand but I think in any case the Z was poorly if at all marketed. But then again the average crowd looking for a Sentra or Altima isn’t going to buy this.

I want the Xterra back, my Off Road was bulletproof out there, simple but tough build!
