My Z keeps getting attacked by rodents — what should I do?

The new Z uses soy-based materials in its wiring insulation, which unfortunately attracts rodents. In just six months, I’ve had my wires chewed through twice. Is there any way to completely resolve this issue?

From what little I know about getting rid of rodents, the best way is to kill them, however that needs to happen. Traps, poison, etc. Not only will they destroy stuff, they'll make nests in open spaces, like your AC blower box and ducts.
That, or soak your car in bobcat urine.

OP: Watched a video on this a while back. Guy tried everything, only thing that worked were snap traps which he placed on top of the wheels. Sucks to have to kill them, but repellents just don't work.
Top reply: This is the answer. You just gotta kill as many as possible. I've been in the industry for 20 years and have found zero "repellants" that actually work. If there was a product that worked every pest control company would use it. Mothballs would be called Mouseballs, Peppermint Oil would be called Mouse Oil and so on. It boils down to getting shelter or dying. I would march through dog shit if I had to so I didn't freeze to death, so will mice.

I have collected a lot of feedback on use, and those things don't seem very useful.I bought an ultrasonic mouse repeller before, but it didn't work at all.

a couple of cats will solve the problem. If you don’t want pets, i would hit them hard with baits and traps.

My car is parked at the back door. The path at the back door is the place to collect garbage every week and use it to breed mice. Maybe I should deploy four rat cages next to the four tires.
