I have a feeling that I may pick up the z and then decide to trade it in sooner than later. I will try to hang tight for a little longer if I can help it I guess. I'm impulsive so I can't believe I'm saying this. I've been shopping around for a ct5 blackwing 6-speed manual and also a dark horse mustang six-speed manual. The m3 and m4 are attractive as well but I hear they perform much better with the DCT and all-wheel drive so the manual option is up in the air. Corvette ZR1 is also going to be released soon. These cars have gotten so expensive these days and the Z with the discount pricing makes so much more sense. I'm just going car crazy and need to slow it down somehow someway.

I see things from a different angle…. All of the cars you either have or are considering are sick cars for sure. And, the grass is always greener on the other side. BUT. The Z community is great. And. The aftermarket support is fantastic as well. One of the things that makes all of those cars so tempting is the numbers they put down and comparison tests. My outlook is to use the aftermarket to get the Z where I think it should be and personalize it in the process. When you get the itch to blow some cash and get in a different car, upgrade the Z some more! Make it a different car!

I got myself a '23 911 GTS and a '24 Performance 6 months after. I bought the Z mainly for a project. Couldn't be happier.

Good to know. This evening, I saw a modified 350Z with a nice sounding JDM exhaust (he revved his engine as he saw me in the Z06). It was definitely very nice and exciting.

With all these high prices and markups and ADMs from dealers, throwing some money on modifications and personalizing just makes more sense on a more budgeted vehicle.

Yup. Only thing I changed on the 911 is the exhaust which I now have the titanium valved exhaust system and a carbon fiber spoiler. Eventually, my Z will be faster than my 911. 496hp to the wheels on the Z.

It's incredible how Porsche has increased the pricing so high and when a car like the Nissan z has equivalent or more power at such an attainable price level. I've always lusted and admired Porsches and I kind of still do with in regards to the turbo and GT vehicles but it simply does not make sense anymore although they do hold their values pretty well and I'm sure they are better to a certain extent and quality, but getting up to 200 and 300 and 400k $ is just outrageous for those vehicles.

The reviews and critics can complain all they want about a car like the z but I think cars like this are a blessing because not everyone is as fortunate and entitled when they are a true enthusiast. It's just silly how Porsche and Ferrari and Lamborghini try to gauge and pick their customers and put them in a line when you can enjoy a vehicle like a z right now without any wait time and inconvenience .

I agree. The Z can push more power than the 911 and even the c8. The upgraded turbocharger package system for the 911 cost $7k and can put down 648hp whereas the Z1 upgraded turbos on the Z can easily make 700hp on the safe side, can go to 800 but you are already pushing it before the motor blows up.

These cars are so easy to modify and a lot less expensive. The funny part is that the Z gets more attention than the 911 GTS lol. The Z is just sexier tbh specially with the two-tone paint Z's. Black and white looks perfect.

Whenever you have turbos involved, then the vehicle will be much more responsive to modifications such as the BMW M3 and m4 and the M2 and the 911 turbo as well along with some other vehicles and the new ZR1 is over well over 1,000 horsepower and then if you modify who knows you can get to 1500 maybe even 2000 horsepower.

The c8 stingray and the Z06 are different type of vehicles as they are more reasonable priced exotic vibes type of vehicles although not quite exotic but they have the mid engine layout and naturally aspirated very responsive V8 engines which you can't find that in a lot of cars these days and then with the Z06 you have a flat plane crank high revving V8 which takes after the Ferrari 458 Italia from back in the day. I don't think too many cars are inferior to one another and each car has their beauty from how they come from the factory and then modifying of course unleashes additional potential and then more results with the turbocharged vehicles that come from the factory especially. It's good to make sure we don't compromise the stock components and reliability too much.

The only thing I hate about the 911s is the back seats. The hell I need the back seats for. I don't like BMWs. Way too many of them in SoFlo. I see M3s and M4s every single day. The new ZR1 will be priced at $175k which is close to what I paid on my used 911. I'm not a fun of American cars, but the only American car I would get is the Viper ACR and the 1969 mustang.

I think the thing that bothers me is that for all the money spent on these cars. Once crash and you are done. The only thing worse than this is having two, a show piece and a daily driver and pulling into the garage knowing you have over 100k just wasting away in your garage lol.

They don't make cars like the viper ACR anymore (used ones are extremely expensive as well) and the closest I guess we will get is a Corvette ZR1/Z06 for now alongside the Porsche GT3RS. Dodge has become more of a European brand nowadays because stellantis owns Fiat and Maserati as well and I don't think they are heading in a good direction by giving priority to making the charger and Challenger electric. Nowadays a lot of the Japanese brands like Toyota and Honda make more of their parts and vehicles in the USA compared to the domestic brands like Ford and GM and Dodge.

As far as the crashing (heaven forbid), hopefully your insurance has you more than covered but more importantly hopefully your safety and well-being is intact.

The way I look at it is that the more people drive a certain vehicle, then it's a more proven and established vehicle and if you buy too much of a niche vehicle where a lot of people don't use it or prove it's worth, then that can be more risky. I understand a lot of people drive BMWs but we have to tip our hats because the new M3 and m4 competition with all wheel drive are sub 3 seconds 0 to 60 vehicles and then with modifications they are extremely responsive and fast. BMW has really good launch systems as we see time and time again on the review comparison videos. They have become more pricey but they have become faster and more powerful than ever before and they compete with much more exotic vehicles as far as acceleration and performance for the most part except for being more of a touring vehicle and not really a pure sports car.

Hey, some people spend a half a million and even a million on one or two cars so nowadays a fraction of that money is not as bad to a certain extent as long as you are aware and you are managing everything including priorities... But who am I to judge when I need to figure myself out.
