Are the hoses any different between the Mishimoto rad support-mounted and Z1 block-mounted? I might attempt to install without removing the IC hose, figure out the routing and access...
Finding a location for the passenger side is the problem. You need an open intake setup and modify the catch can brackets. The passenger side block has a thread insert like the driver side does. (Z1 instructions shows it). Thats the best location for itAnyone have experience with or can speak to this double baffle fitting the Z?

Removing the oil cap helped me.I installed yesterday. One hour, my yasma! Getting the intercooler off was hard enough, but putting it back on was a bear. Finally, put the intercooler side of the rubber pipe off and put on the
throttle side on first. That was the ticket.
I have a Mishimoto already on the right side, but always wondered what about the left.I installed yesterday. One hour, my yasma! Getting the intercooler off was hard enough, but putting it back on was a bear. Finally, put the intercooler side of the rubber pipe off and put on the

I heard he has catch can for his hood struts. The most satisfying part of installing this (Mishimoto for me) was that I'd NEVER HAVE TO DO IT AGAIN.
Before I decide on anything, and because I value his opinion (well, I'll go with 99% of the time), I'd like to know what @Tranzor Z has to say. Don't hold back!
We have a 2013 gasoline Silverado at work with 193,000 miles original engine and trans. This truck gets put through hell. Texas heat, Houston traffic and the driver is borderline down syndrome. No catch can, no issues. The most satisfying part of installing this (Mishimoto for me) was that I'd NEVER HAVE TO DO IT AGAIN.

Is it DI?We have a 2013 gasoline Silverado at work with 193,000 miles original engine and trans. This truck gets put through hell. Texas heat, Houston traffic and the driver is borderline down syndrome. No catch can, no issues.
Mabye Corky swapped engines in his spare time, but DI wasn’t introduced in the Silverado until the 2014 EcoTek.Is it DI?![]()
