Maybe all car manufacturers should change the name of their vehicles to accurately describe what they can actually achieve. The Z is a performance sports car now is it in the same category as Porsche or Ferrari no, but no one would think that. For the price point you get a lot for your money. Also anyone who claims an open diff sport is a better buy than a Performance has buyer remorse. When I purchased my Z a manual was a must have and the NISMO was automatic only.And... That's fair enough ............. BUT! Nissan markets the STD Z (Performance) as a "High-performance SPORTS car" .... thus, you would assume it would be reasonably capable around a track such as the ring.
