Nailed it first go apparently! Ha
For anyone's reference, this was my beam height at 1m away at the peak of the beam. Raised both sides 35mm from where it was set from factory.
I'd say I got it pretty much bang on where I would want it, maayybbee a teensy bit too high, but I'm happy where it is.
I usually steer clear of these online arguments, because 99% of people commenting have already made their mind up with 0 interest in discussion, but here was my 2 cents.
Side note, I just got home from a ~2,000km trip on shitty Australian roads, and I'm extremely happy that it isn't a more track...
My WRX headlights turn left and right with the steering wheel. It's by far the best safety feature for driving windy country roads at night, and I can't believe it's not on more vehicles.
Passenger side should always be a few degrees higher than driver.
Passenger side needs to give you visibility of the side of the road for pedestrians, wildlife etc. where the drivers side only needs to light up the lane, and having it lower makes it so you don't blind oncoming traffic.
I would assume it's just the default. Not sure of others use case, but 90% plus of my drives are in the day, and the night drives have been through towns with street lights, or on freeways with traffic.
I've had mine for a year, and it only really struck me how bad it was the other day when I...
I don't have that much room to play with for the settings, so I just marked a board for each one, and went up an equal amount. If it's still too low, or too high I'll have that reference point to go off.
Man, I've had mine for a year, and just went on a short night drive on a country road, and immediately noticed how terrible they were off high beam. Felt like I had to slow to a crawl whenever there was oncoming traffic, mine are WAY worse than this.
Found this thread looking up how to adjust...
He didn't mention anything about release date. I think 2027 is a safe bet.
I asked him to let me know as soon as there's info so I could place an order. I'll update this when/if I hear anything :)
Also to add he showed me the official pricing sheets he'd been emailed and told me "he was allowed to talk about it, but not to send it out."
When I left I said I was on the fence on the X-Trail but 100% on the Nismo if he could get me one for that price ha. The one thing I would consider...
Yeah, I was very surprised. I just mentioned the Manual Nismo/Heritage in passing and he goes "oh we just got pricing in for them".
Also the $95 is MSRP, so expect $105 or so drive-away? Still less than I would have expected, I just had in my head it would be 120+, and put the thought of owning...
So I haven't seen any word on pricing until now, but here it is.
I popped into the local dealer to look at an X-Trail to replace my daily, and got to chatting and the dealer had just received the pricing info.
I was expecting a lot more, and had never even considered one, but now this leaves me...
I have not.
Fitment would be horrendous with the factory suspension, but I've seen plenty of posts in here from people with square setups. Also, not sure why you think they would affect the Calipers?
I was looking for a used set of Nismo's before I ended up buying these. Absolutley love the look of them. These spokes are quite a bit fatter, and tuck in before the lip too.
Even the stock 19's are one of the best looking OEM wheels, it's just a shame about the width and offset.
I was planning on covering all the piano black on the steering wheel but I actually really like how this looks as-is.
I'll update again once it's all done properly 🙂
Couldn't help myself.. Used the last bit of scrap I had to do the buttons.
Again, my application is terrible, and I'm 100% going to pay to get it done properly, but I'll leave it as is for a month or two to see how the touch points wear, and how it goes with fingerprints etc.

The little piece I'm holding is all I had lol. I've got a signwriter next to my work that gave me a piece of scrap to test out.
I'll get the exact type next time I go in and buy a piece/probably get him to install it because I suck and will probably end up wasting more $$ worth of material than...
