Certainly will do! I had ordered the AWE track exhaust but became very weary from the number of reports that say it either drones or required tweaking ASE/ANC settings. I could’ve gone with the AWE Touring, but I think the Magnaflow SPEQ is a more premium product at a close price point.

Exhaust design is heavily dictated by emissions and sound control options at the factory.
I can't imagine why anyone would spend money on exhaust changes, and not dump the tiny, restrictive, lower downpipes.
Improved downpipes have three, immediate advantages:
A little more power and quicker turbo response, evacuate excess combustion heat, and the potential for slight gains in fuel economy at cruise.
It is likely the lower downpipes are a restrictive design to control heat for emissions. You be be fairly certain the engineers did not want to restrict the exhaust flow.

Unfortunately, some of us live in states with the ridiculous CARB law. A lot of shops these days are leery because if they get caught, there are big fines and they can lose their inspection license. Even though the upper cats are still intact and the ECM most likely will not throw a code, they still have to do a visual inspection. Most of us have a guy that will overlook the visual, but what happens if that guy moves?

Is this something the dealer can do?

Some dealers can. Some will charge you, some won't, and some are not aware what it is.

Best to call around and see which one is experienced and willing.

I have 'em; good choice for guys with a 3.0" catback. Lareger resonator and improved fitment.

I am tuned, but you will not get a CEL from LDPs since the factory secondary cats are not monitored. the only cats the ECU cares about are the primaries in the upper downpipes.

There are catted downpipes available. No need to install a bare tube that sticks out like a sore thumb.

Can confirm that the Magnaflow Speq system sounds delightful. No rasp. No drone. Deep V6 TT tone. Pops and burbles. A pleasing volume that won’t get the neighbors pissed at you. I’ll aim to have videos in the coming weeks.
