Looking for advice on carbon hood

A couple here, along with a lot of other RZ34 aero and widebody parts.
Apologies if someone's already listed this company. I have ZERO clue if they're legit or not, but prices seem reasonable. Although considering Top Secret's is $10K, "reasonable" is a pretty big target. They also offer quite a few material choices.

CMST Tuning

Unnecessary observation: They lose points in my head calling it a "400Z." Hoping that would taper off. Unfortunately, like not using blinkers, "400Z" is officially one of my pet peeves.

Using "blinkers" is apparently illegal in Texas. However, doing more than 100mph down the freeway, while weaving in and out of traffic, appears to be OK.

CMST is 100% a middleman website for all things AliBaba. They even have the same photos (which frankly doesn’t prove anything these days). 400Z is common misnomer used in China.

Right!? Most of these hoods all come from China anyway… If I were to give this a shot, I’d rather buy through eBay for buyer protection.

The factory hood is already a light material, aluminum.
This is no carbon fiber, its standard FRP with a layer of carbon for show only
Not sure if vents are even open from those pictures
Might be cheapER than a real hood but . . . good luck rolling the dice on fitment, it's a totally random proposition. Chances are it won't fit right - question is whether its within spec to be modified by a shop to fit, or if you need to dump it and pray for a replacement . . . which may be equally as bad
And while fucking with all, that you have to store your factory hood somewhere.

If you want functional venting, wait for Verus or someone reputable to do some hood vents which can be installed in the factory hood (for a reasonable price, too)

or the Varis one, which will fit

I agree with Option Zero.

When I had my Supra I did the Verus CF vent. If Verus doesn’t make something for the Z I might try these CF vents on my Nismo
