You put in 20K in half a year?! What have you been doing, commuting to CA or Las Vegas??I’ve got 20k miles on mine that I’ve only owned 6 months. No surprises. It’s a great car, as all of my Nissans have been.

At least he is enjoying the car, so many here have their as garage queens. You put in 20K in half a year?! What have you been doing, commuting to CA or Las Vegas??![]()
so special and rare, fun rolling the miles.Work has been slow most of the 6 months, which is a good thing, so I typically drive somewhere I haven’t seen most days. Also some 8-hr round trips to see my parents in assisted living. You put in 20K in half a year?! What have you been doing, commuting to CA or Las Vegas??![]()
100% agree!! I've owned many 'enthusiast' cars in the past incl Rabbit GTi, BMW 2002 Tii, Audi Quattro, BMW M3, Subaru STi, Mustang GT, several 240Zs, most gens Miatas, Cayman S, each time drove the heck and pushed them. Some cars owned had super low miles, babied them, always thinking of resale value, BIG mistake! Got boring, sold them. Enjoy your Zs every chance you get and mod it to personalize, let the miles pile up.Work has been slow most of the 6 months, which is a good thing, so I typically drive somewhere I haven’t seen most days. Cars are meant to be driven. You can die tomorrow and the precious car in the garage that was never driven is a waste. Plus it’s my 30th car and I’m honestly surprised it’s even made it 20k without being traded. It’s a sign I really like the Z. I don’t care about the mileage. If it breaks I’ll buy another one.
I have a lot of life lessons to share, but specific to cars, if you love a car drive the wheels off of it. The more miles, the more you lived. And it’s just a car. It doesn’t love you. It doesn’t care about you. Use it for you and when your last day comes you’ll not have that sinking feeling, “I’d do anything to go back and just drive the damn cars all I could.” Don’t be that car lover with regrets. Burn up the miles knowing you’ll smile instead of regret.

I don't think it was "why are you driving this car so much" kinda question.Work has been slow most of the 6 months, which is a good thing, so I typically drive somewhere I haven’t seen most days. Also some 8-hr round trips to see my parents in assisted living.
