My last three cars have duel climate…don’t see the point, in a car this small the air all mingles within 5 minutes anyway.
if you’ve got a big 4WD then sure, otherwise I’m not so sure it matters, and for sure is not a breaking point
Coming from engineer, having dual climate control in a space that small is totally stupid

$40k car and you still get a prop rod for the hood. Where is the dual climate? Even the Corolla has dual climate control.
Couple months ago there were some people bitching that it doesn't have air conditioned seats, HUD and tow package. You'd fit right in!

My Q60 has hood struts and dual zone. I rarely open the hood, and the wife never uses the dual zone, although I know some women need it.

Wife's 2020 Corolla HB doesn't have dual zone either. Soooo..... maybe you should keep your BMW?

6 speed manual, 400hp, overall beautiful exterior styling.. I could care less about not having dual climate zones, prop rods.. or even that it is still using the same key fob from my old 09 370Z.
Don't forget, the new Z is slumming it with a manual parking brake too! I bet the BMW isn't so janky!

I actually prefer a prop rod - no hood struts to wear out and fail.

Dual zone climate control is a non-issue for me. I never use it on either of my other vehicles and I am not convinced it makes much of a difference.

I think you are missing the point here. In its price market, its competitors have those features. Mustang, Camaro, Dodge brothers, Supra. Buyers look at those features. It may not matter to you but it does matter to other people.

I've had/have those features. The Z isn't for everyone. And especially in this pandemic and supply chain disruptions, I don't see how making the car more appealing to "box checking" would be in any way helpful or necessary. Nissan will sell every single Z to very grateful customers who can even acquire one, can they even build enough?
I'll gladly trade in my Q60 for a Z.

My only complaint on the interior is that 8" display, all those square feet of piano black surround make it more than clear you're getting the cheapout special. No sat nav either.
Does it support Android auto?

Well judging by the comments on here, no one cares about those two features except for you.
The Z is supposed to come in well under the Supra price tag.
In Aus a Supra goes for 110k on the road…we expect the Z to be between 70-80 for normal model….so that’s a thirty grand difference for duel air con and a prop, yeah no thanks. I’ll take the 30 grand saving and the better looking car
those who want to track it will have 30grand to spend on mods. That’s a heck of a lot to play with

I wasn’t aware that there would be set viewing times.

Also, if you thought you'd be able to actually touch or sit in the car -- think again. The car on display is the Proto (not one of the real production cars) and it's roped off. I wasted 20 min waiting to get in -- 5 min before opening they put up the ropes (a journalist had been taking pictures before) to keep people back.
