Hi All,

Just finished updating the anemic audio system in my Z Sport. Total investment less than $200.00. Figure some here would appreciate a reletively simple and less expensive option.

The heart of this update is the BLAUPUNKT GTHS81PRO 8" Amplified Subwoofer. This sub is designed to fit under the seat and it does, perfectly. Does NOT knock your socks off but improves bass substantially. I placed under the driver seat. I suppose if you do not want your butt vibrating, the passenger seat will work. Still need to properly install/run 12V+ from battery. I choose to splice into the front speakers for the high level input. There are speaker grills in the rear but could not tell if there were actual speakers back there. So, some experience hooking up power and such is a plus. I also spliced in surface mount dome tweeters and used velcro to attach to the left/right rear pillars. Much better surround sound than stock. Make sure to use a quality capacitor on the tweeters. Anything but those little electrolytics.

The Blaupunkt is solid, heavy and seems good quality for the price. Hope it will last and make this worth the time and effort.
