It's IKAZUCHI YELLOW as per the thread, it's a shame that it is an option on coupes as it devalues the Proto I think.

Unrelated question, but what makes you think your Proto is #58? Did you get a numbered plate or something from Nissan?
Nissan confirmed when I bought it - was looking for low production model but the lower I got the more $s - I found #10 but it was 90K - rumored that #1 went at auction for north of 120K, but that was told to me by GSM at Grubbs Nissan in DFW so take it for what its worth

That's the first I've heard of it. Wonder how they derive that number, is it in the VIN?
Could be just dealers looking for an excuse to charge more 😟

As stated in second post on that thread I stand corrected - it is the same yellow. I read early on it would be slightly different- but again I built it out on the site and you are correct / the options not available- yellow interior, yellow brakes & wheels
I think the confusion comes from the fact that production Ikazuchi yellow is slightly different from the yellow on the original Proto unveiled way back when.

the last two digits in my vin are 58 - I have not been able to find the 2023 VIN breakdown yet, but in 2022 the last six digits correlated to serial number. I would like to see Nissans distribution strategy / schedule for the protos - how may went to what dealer in US. Most Dallas / Ft. Worth Dealers got one, but one dealer has three - maybe he traded for extra from remote dealer that would have less demand - maybe his volume that high to warrant 3 - he was asking 93K for each. I have still not seen another one on the road in Dallas.

that may be the case - and I could have sworn when I went to build one out 9 months backs the yellow was different name and more gold in it. either way we know what we got now

I saw my first Z in the wild today here in Houston, Proto Spec of course.

You can spot the DRLs a mile away and they stand out - big time, they are beautiful.

PICTURES DO NOT DO THIS CAR JUSTICE, AT ALL.

Part of the reason I settled on the coupe was I wasn’t a fan of the proto coloured wheels ….so I would have been paying an extra 10k just for some stitching on the interior
