True and it's coming (the pull, build-to-order), Zs are not hotcakes off dealer lots. At this point anybody looking to snatch an inventory can't be too picky on color, interior and maybe trim. Discounted Zs are still out there but it's not in Nissan's best interest to keep producing with the high overheads and dire financials.

But good to know that Mr Espinosa can push to keep it alive though, for now:

“Our CEO is a huge Z fanatic, and GTR fanatic. Big fan,” Soutter continued. “Having this in our portfolio is a kind of a halo. You see, it’s pretty impressive, and it’s kind of our whole DNA around the powertrain, fun to drive, adventure, everything else.
The volume is not the core determinant on this thing.”

I just realized he was talking about the weight, but even then

IMO, this Z is one of the last of the true sports car. Limited on tech, which a lot of petrol heads all are complaining about todays sports cars.

"lane assist, bleh" "automatic, gross" "hybrid, hell naw" "what do you mean i can't work on my own car?!!" "what do you mean i need a subscription to use sports mode?!!"

Then Nissan gives us this?!

"TOO expensive" even though if the 350z came out on todays inflation, it'll be at around the same price

"The tech, feels outdated" even though its been tried and tested for the past 20 years, and these are the same people that complain about new cars NOT being analog enough

"cars today are too complicated to work on" BEETCH!, i'm not a mechanic and I did most of the work and maintenance on this car myself

TBH, i'd prefer it too be limited, to only owners that'll truly appreciate these cars

Nah, I'm relatively new to the car scene here in Melbourne. Haven't really reached out to those guys or guys like them.

I like to keep it to small company lol

I love their production quality films. Funny I visited Melbourne back in 1994 Was there for 2 weeks and then traveled all over Australia for 3 more weeks. Loved it there.

I could not agree with you more, I have always liked 90's Japanese cars, and I have owned many of them, and the Z in my opinion takes me back to those good ole days. I have owned my fair share of cars, including domestic's and German. The Z is by far one of my favorite car's period it's just does everything well enough and gets the important stuff right. Enough power for the street, analog and most importantly very good-looking car. I find myself wanting to drive this car, and I did not get that same feeling with many of my other cars. I know this sounds crazy, but I feel like I the Z being so good is my little secret, and I don't want to tell anyone, because I want this all to myself. There is a side of my, that want's to buy a second one while the prices are soo good. 10 years from know, I will be kicking myself for not pulling the trigger on a second one, mark my words.

Yep, same here. I've always been a domestic V8 guy most of my life, but I test drove the Z and fell in love with it. Got this 2024 Nismo Z brand new for $58k 3 months ago. MSRP $73k. Loaded with every option.

Good news for the resale value on all of our cars.

If you’ve been contemplating a purchase. Do it now!
Nah. Z prices will continue in free fall especially new charger six pack is here. You can pick 4dr or 2dr for charger.

Gm trademark Camaro name again.

Hyundai another one to watch out for!

With the Sixpack being compared to its EV twin, I think that's going to be a harder sell. As well, with it being sought after by car thieves (I think it's the highest stolen vehicle in the US). I doubt the charger is going to steer drivers towards that,.. thing

As well with the Camaro, it'll probably be more expensive compared to its predecessors. I mean look at the new corvette, it's pretty much at supercar prices.

Hyundai is more branded for cheap thrills. With their factory pop and bang tune, which sounds gross to be honest. The only people buying those cars are probably just getting into college or can't afford a current model year sports car

As for the prices, been seeing 10000km 22-23 model Zs going as low as $65k AUD, the more expensive ones being the Manual transmissions. Compared to the $80K AUD when they first came out, that's not bad of drop.

As for the economics, less is more. Just like how we are seeing less and less 350z on the roads, the prices of these (very clean, 1 owner, low mileage) have just started to go up. The Z will be no different in 20 years, if not more, if there is a super limited amount of them
