Has anyone run Atturo AZ850 Tyres, and if so, how would they compare to the factory Z tyres/aftermarket alternatives.

I bought my Z a couple months ago that had a fresh set of these on (factory wheels, and tyre widths and profile), and I'm curious if anyone else has them, and has feedback compared to other tyres?
I've been trying to look up reviews, but the only reviews I've found have been on muscle cars and SUV's.

They've been fine in the dry, although not super confidence inspiring. I went for a drive this morning in VERY mild wet weather, and holy shit, it's just tyre spin city. Even cruising at 2,500 in 4th, giving it moderate throttle spun the wheels.

This is the first RWD Manual I've driven in many years (I've been dailying a WRX for 4 years), so I'm not sure if these are super sketchy, or if I'm just used to being able to plant it in any weather/road scenario and knowing I don't need to worry about traction.

I'm looking at replacing wheels/tyres anyway, and I can't see myself getting another set of these, but I'm keen for anyone else's experience.

Junk. With tires, you get exactly what you pay for.

Tires are the only thing connecting you to the road; #1 safety device.

I didn't buy them, did you read the post? Do you have any feedback at all?

I did read it in entirety before replying. I've also owned AWD sports cars, but tire quality greatly matters regardless. I had a set of Nittos on my Evo X they were laughable (and Hankooks weren't much better).

Think of the tires as the only interface your car has to the road. Proceed accordingly.

I know this, and I've just bought a new set after another day of driving in the wet, but neither of you have answered any of the questions I raised, or given any advice.

I'm Australian, so definitely no snow to worry about lol.
I was originally looking at 4S's as I have PS5's on my WRX which I love. I was recommended Advan V107 which I got for a decent price compared to the Michelin. From what I can see they're a close equivalent to 4S's.
I've always had great experiences with Yoko's. The only issue with them (like Conti's) is that they just don't seem to last as long as others.

I know PS4S is still the benchmark, but at their current prices for a 2017 design is equal parts amazing and scary. Only 6k into the OEM tyres so I hope some other options present themselves in the coming months.

One of the main reasons I wanted PS5's. I've done 30k in the Rex, and they've easily got another 20 in them.
Yes, they're not as sticky as the 4S, but they're predictable, and if anything they'd keep me from getting too carried away with my driving.

Sure I did. Purchase tires with the thought in mind that they are your car's only interface with the road. To put it more bluntly, don't cheap out on tires adter buying a 50k sports car.

Wtf mate, you realise how obnoxious it is just saying "sure I did" and then just doubling down with another nothing sentence..

Sorry, I guess I'm just traumatized by years of watching people nickel and dime on tires for performance cars. It makes zero sense. I spent 15 minutes searching, and found reports of those tires coming apart, tires not being able to be balanced, and wearing out in 1/3 of the time of known quality brands.

I've got Pilot Sport 5's on my other car, the last thing I'm interested in is pinching pennies.
If they were available in the width/profile I want for the Z I wouldn't have even posted this in the first place.
I could only find positive reviews for the Atturo tyres, and they're listed as 8/10 for wet driving, but I've had more traction from a shopping trolley compared to these things..

Discount Tire is the only big distributor I found that sells Atturos and has reviews, although there are only a few.
- Pulling numbers from reviews.
- I have zero experience with Atturo.
- Diff sizes/diff cars can make a difference in performance.

In no particular order

3.7 out of 5 - Atturo AZ850…3 of 3 would buy again
2.9 out of 5 - Bridgestone S007…2 of 4 would buy again
4.0 out of 5 - Yokohama Advan Sport…7 of 13 would buy again
4.6 out of 5 - Michelin PS4S…519 of 544 would buy again
4.6 out of 5 - Michelin PS5…6 of 6 would buy again
4.7 out of 5 - Michelin PS4 All Season…1,619 of 1,716 would buy again
4.7 out of 5 - Continental Extreme Contact Sport 02…133 of 141 would buy again
4.7 out of 5 - Firestone Firehawk Indy 500…44 of 44 would buy again
4.3 out of 5 - Pirelli P Zero PZ4 Sport…138 of 180 would buy again
