Has anyone else done anything about the phone resting on the USB cable? I've seen a lot of suggestions for Wireless Android Auto, buit I prefer to be plugged in.

I have a 3ft cable and put my phone in the slot between the ebrake and cupholder 🤷🏽‍♂️
You mean like resting against the handbrake, or is there a different interior in different models?

14 pro w/ right angle connectors. I normally just keep it in my front pocket.

Yep. It sits sideways against the handle, and I have the cable wrapped from right of the shifter to reach my phone.

Its ugly and not a clean look like having it in the cubby. But it does the trick for me

Put in an Anker wireless charging pad from Walmart ($15). Cut an outline of the charger into the rubber mat so it sits almost flush. Plugged into 12 volt under the glove box. Works great.

Very clean solution, I like it! Plus no charging cables showing and both USB ports still available.

Man, I've been in a rental car this week with wireless auto, and charging.
I hate it tbh. I went for a 2h drive, and my battery went from like 80 to 85% and it got to like 50deg.
I bought a cable after the first day.

Great idea for apple products but Android needs to be plugged in.

I bought a wireless ottocast but it would only wirelessly play my Spotify and not Waze so I returned it and went back to cable.

My android is currently sitting on an Anker wireless charger with no issues. Very clean install @ArmyW4 !
