Has anyone else done anything about the phone resting on the USB cable? I've seen a lot of suggestions for Wireless Android Auto, buit I prefer to be plugged in.

I was considering replacing the entire rubber mat with a single piece that incorporates this, but it's been working just fine for the past few weeks.
Maybe when I get a scanner, and I can more accurately model the profile. We'll see.

Yeah, and luckily my phone case's camera bezel hooks over the front edge of my wallet so they kinda lock in place. Every now and again things just work out.

Also, I just realized you're from AU (before looking at your profile) because your S Mode button is where my Start/Stop button is and your temperature dial runs 18..25..32.

Yeah, I think that was a Pixel 7 (at the time I took the photo). It looks like you have a Samsung Note, which might be too big for my right-angle cable solution.

It's an S22 (or maybe 23?) Ultra. I've already done it the hard way though, so I guess it's up to someone else to see if that would still fit lol.
Looking at the first photo, I'd guess it would be fine without the case, but probably borderline with it.

My phone fits nicely next to the shifter on top of the drive mode button. Unless I drive crazy it doesn't change the drive mode or slide off too easily.

I use that same angled cable and have a pixel that fits in no problem. Size matters.

I installed a wireless charger plugged into the USB A port. It fit perfectly in that space and you can loop the cable up and behind so you don't see it. $20.

That's pretty cool! Did you also need to setup wireless auto/carplay?
How has it been with keeping the phone charged/overheating?
