First allocation sold out in Australia
The reborn 2023 Nissan Z sports car – now with twin-turbo V6 power – has sold out before the first dealer allocations have arrived in Australian showrooms.
In a media briefing at Nissan Australia headquarters in Melbourne yesterday, Nissan advised the price of the 2023 Nissan Z will be announced mid next week during the company's national dealer conference.
However, Nissan is yet to disclose how it will allocate cars to customers already in the queue – and whether there will be a limit of one car per person, to thwart financial speculators who want to buy the car and sell it quickly for a tidy profit.

If thats the case why cant they just tell you if you got one or not.

Very interesting to see first allocations sold.
im not liking the sentence “not sure how they will allocate” surely first in line should get first allocations, and if they can’t give you what you ordered they should give you an Option to change colour etc to what is available before moving down the list…I feel that is the fair way of doing it.
otherwise you could be last in and get a car because you want Rosewood , not that I’d accept rosewood, but I would consider, red, blue, white and maybe even black….after my pre ordered yellow manual

I also find it interesting that they are continuing to take pre orders if they have sold first allocations without that being stated on their web page

At least you're getting them there soonish. My guess would be there won't be here until next year ... we're still waiting for any word on when the new 86 / BRZ twins will arrive and be priced at.

yep they are still standing by the July timeline…who knows…maybe we get lucky?‍

EDiT…just found the article…it states that their orders already stretch out to a 12 month wait time ?
what in the heck!
when will they tell people this bit of information….I mean I’ve been waiting a year and a half but by the time I get it, it that was expected… placing a pre order and not being told it could be a further 12 months is not on really

I wonder…..if they now know their allocations, and prices will be revealed next week…does that mean we will be told if we have a car or not next week?

Just called this dealer he had 3 unfilled allocations, also they are giving away ab accessory pack with there cars

I can see no reason why we wouldn't be told by the end of next week if we get a car in the first batch

There's been about 5 new Australian Z news articles released in the past 3 hours, corroborating mid-year for first arrivals, pricing soon and initial allocation sold out.
We're getting close!!

So your saying they have their allocations now? And know what’s filled??
How many orders did your dealer actually have? And are they big, small…usual Nismo dealer? As that could play a part

No probs…also nice to see another female on here….the guys are really great, and the forum has been a big pot of knowledge for us, the guys from the US easily outnumber us Aussies and Canadians, but we are gaining on them.

Yes interesting read, if they expect to sell 1000 cars as 1000 people have put down a deposit he makes it sound like you will get a car if you have put money down.
It will be very interesting to see if the two dealers I have deposits with both come up with a car, will then have to see who's driveaway price is the best and what they can offer.
