Hopefully, that is the case. Perhaps the Corvette situation is unique to GMSV's arrangement, not sure how they get away with it.
Yes I hope so…it’s what I was told, but after reading some article I’m a tad concerned now.
As soon as pricing is released I’ll be onto my dealer to ascertain the drive away price

So let's assume the dealer is free to set the delivery fee, what is regarded as reasonable? My pre-order paperwork has it at $2395, which I thought is a bit excessive.

Having read about the crazy markup some dealers are putting on the Corvette by charging an exorbitant amount of dealer delivery fee, I hope the same doesn't happen with the Z
Dealer delivery fees are capped here at around 2k. If anything they'll try and get you with finance, floor mats, coatings and tinting.

Well, in the past perhaps. …but dealer delivery also takes in transportation, and as we know that has increased since covid
I wouldn’t be surprised to see it at 2-2.5k…anything more and they are pushing the friendship.

All should be revealed in a week if car advice is right …hope they are. Feel sorry for the dealers on that day…millions of calls incoming ?

Surprised I can't find anything online whatsoever from Nissan HQ in Vic other than what CarExpert.com.au posted.
Surely other media outlets have visited this week? ?‍♂

Someone just posted on the Facebook page a link to an article in SA that’s been promptly removed (no longer working)
Price $73300 plus on road costs…so I’d say 80k on road at a guess, exactly what my dealer told me
I’m trying to ascertain if that’s the Proto or performance price as the article had been taken down by the time I saw it.
someone’s in BIG trouble

Looks like that is the price, they have now deleted the article, oops! So its $73k before on roads so probably somewhere closer to $80K on road?

Correct..because if you factor a 2.5k dealer delivery that brings it to 75800 (apparently it said 73300) then that means we wil be paying 2k in luxury car tax 77800k leaving 2.2k for on road rego etc …im guessing 79500k dealers will be wary of breaking the 80K barrier

This is for the base though, no extras …like @MattJ2020 said you’d expect a 9inch screen with built in Sat hav (instead of relying on your phone) for that

But hey…can’t help it…still want it ?

whoever posted the article will have a lot of explaining to do

EDIT…LCT may be included…best price 77k worst I think 80k.
proto looking to be almost 10k more for some rims, painted breaks and stitching …not sure about that

I have been using Apple Car Play for the past few months, wired; rather than my MBUX system which is great but CarPlay is only 4:3 on a 16:9 screen! ?????
