  1. Hands Up all the Aussies

I may still be interested in a Nismo in a couple of years.
  2. Hands Up all the Aussies

I have been reading this thread for the last 6 months, but has decided to cancel my pre-order. It’s a great looking car, shame about the launch.
  3. Hands Up all the Aussies

Will give them a call. Heard nothing from them so far. I have put down a preorder for a Mustang dark horse, but I am thinking about gettting a used F87 M2 C instead of the Z before the Mustang. Unfortunately most of the M2 are autos.
  4. Hands Up all the Aussies

Drive gave a rather poor review of the manual. Really thinking about canceling my pre-order now.
  5. Hands Up all the Aussies

Anyone seen a demo non-proto manual in Brisbane?
  6. Hands Up all the Aussies

Is the white demo a manual or auto?
  7. Hands Up all the Aussies

I went and had a look at a Boulder grey one today, looks good. I think the Z is.a good looking car is every colour.
  8. Hands Up all the Aussies

I saw the same car at Moorooka Nissan today, in perfect condition. Blue looks good, although it is a fairly common kind of blue. It was mentioned earlier that Newstead has a boulder grey, I need to have a look at that one.
  9. Hands Up all the Aussies

Just had a looked at the Proto at Newstead. Yellow looks great, and the car is beautiful! Anyone seen a blue or a grey one around Brisbane? Keen to check out those two colours.
  10. Hands Up all the Aussies

Which dealer? I just want to have a look, not really fussed about sitting in it.
  11. Hands Up all the Aussies

Anyone seen one in any of the Brisbane dealership yet?
  12. Hands Up all the Aussies

I am losing interest in the Z. I like the look, but not particularly been impressed by the rest of the car. Too heavy, boring exhaust note, no different drive modes and suspension modes. Anyone else thinking about getting a Civic type R? Although it might be already too late for a deposit.
  13. Hands Up all the Aussies

May be I am wrong, but I thought RRP is GST inclusive, and LCT applies after thr GST, with the threshold for LCT currently still under $70k. So my take is the RRP of $73k includes both GST and LCT.

I agree with Houston. US performance costs about the same as the Aussie one,, with our 10% GST and luxury car tax included. Cars are usually way cheaper in the US.
  15. Hands Up all the Aussies

At this stage, I will probably wait till I get a test drive first before I commit. If the dealer wants me to comfirm my preorder without a test drive, I will just let it go. At $80k, I don’t think there is any rush to get one. I love the look of the z, but I would like to get a feel for it...
  16. Hands Up all the Aussies

Thanks!. I managed to find the prices on my mobile, but not on my laptop! Seems like $1200 extra for all other colours. I am never into red, except on a Ferrari, but I am liking the red!
  17. Hands Up all the Aussies

I am struggling with Nissan's online configurator. It doesn't give me the driveway price once I have chosen different colours. Did anyone work out the extra for all the different colours?
  18. Nissan Australia Release: Full 2023 Z Specs, Pricing, Build Options, Wallpapers

As West Aussie said, the price of the car in Australia is $73300AUD. Take away our taxes it becomes around $64,600. If you want to convert that to USD that’s $46,400. Usually US car prices are much lower than ours.
  19. Hands Up all the Aussies

Agree that the standard exhaust seems pretty lame, although that’s just my impression from watching YouTube. Personally I don’t feel that the Proto is worth the extra money. Tesla model 3 performance is becoming a relative bargain, but other than really fast acceleration, it’s rather boring...
  20. Hands Up all the Aussies

Been busy with work today, anyone worked out the extra cost for each paint? Judging by the Japanese pricing I think the blue and red are more expensive, something like $1600 extra? I am still not sure if I want to pay $80k, it’s more than I was hoping for, but then again every manufacturer has...
