Good to know…I was looking at getting slims, just wanted to be sure before I did the order.
Now to decide what I want to put on it

Any suggestions?? Anyone??
Could be as easy as the month you "ordered"
APR21 or MAR21
You'd have to decide which one it was though. Seems to change around :)

It felt weird because the revs would not drop quickly after releasing the clutch when changing gears at high rpm - which made the process feel clumsy - jerky. Maybe I need more practice with the car.
Ahh damn. I was hoping the Z would be "old school" enough to miss the rev hang. Does it do it at low/mid revs too?

I'd say it was an emissions thing for an older engine to help and burn off any excess.
I've been able to tune a good portion of it out in previous cars so maybe that will be the case with the Z too

From memory, I think it does it from about 3500-4000rpm and up - but it is most noticeable when launching hard and revving out close to the redline.

Sorry - I meant it is most noticeable/irritating when upshifting when close to the redline.

It’s pretty easy to understand.
I put an order in in March, I put my deposit down early April 2021 …no confusion at all

They say the Z can't do a burnout but I've seen a few vids of them doing donuts and now at a skidpan. I guess it's only when the brakes are applied at the same time there's a problem with it cutting out?

It's an issue on the 370 too, VDC when off still intervenes doing a brake stand burnout and cuts the power, pain in the ass for drags as you can't get heat into the tyres. Can be bypassed by pulling the fuse or bypassing the brake pedal switch. ECUtek is working on a solution for it in their tunes
