Man this one hits home..sad to see
Emelia Hartford is using a GTR NISMO as a donor car for a Z Drag build. She mentions the GTR NISMO was a Nissan press car. that GTR NISMO was not only a press car but I think used in a movie too maybe as ive seen it pop up online a few times. Its a bit of a Frankenstein NISMO from what I can tell. It has the 2015/16 front end like mine but the interior wheels brakes exhaust and fenders are from the 2020+ and it has the fog light rear diffuser the US spec didnt come with.
Ripping the engine out that car makes me feel ill. up until last year there were like 7 red NISMOs total brought to the US. Now that we know there will be no more GTR NISMOs I wish another GTR would have been used. To me there is no engine swapped Z build that will ever be as special as an original GTR NISMO are only gonna be a little over 300 ever brought into the US now that its all said and done
Thoughts? Im wondering if this GTR NISMO has a history to it as a stunt car or something where it cant be sold or registered? maybe that would explain it . Even so im wondering if this GTR NISMO could have remained in tact somehow

. It is a bummer that a special car like this is being torn down but there is a good chance that it was set to not survive anyway. From what I understand, there are a lot of vehicles that end up getting the crusher... I don't really understand why this would be a practice of any kind.
