lmao, alot of the drivers call me either stark or montana lol
No you are not, if you change your order you go to the back of the line ….but if they can’t provide what people have ordered they should work their way down the listHow did that go with pre orders? For us in the US you aren't technically locked into something till the order is placed, or till the unit is inbound. But when it comes to pre orders in Aus are you allowed to change the order at any time or up till the order is confirmed?
So if you do change your order then you do roll to the back of the line. Then just to make sure I understand correctly, if the next car in line doesn’t line up with the order that is next in line they roll the car to the next available individual who ordered that car?No you are not, if you change your order you go to the back of the line ….but if they can’t provide what people have ordered they should work their way down the list
I presume so…this is what I’ve been told by the dealer…however that hasn’t been confirmed as yetSo if you do change your order then you do roll to the back of the line. We all have our own things going on. My remark though I quoted your comment, wasn't centered at you.I presume so…this is what I’ve been told by the dealer…however that hasn’t been confirmed as yet
That dosent mean I’m happy about it, and it doesn’t mean I’m not pushing my dealer to think about how they will handle such a situation given i was the first order in my state…see your not the only dealer I give a hard time to.
You think you’ve got it bad, you should be happy your not my dealer.
Having said that I’m the one spending my hard earned money, and as such am entitled to ask questions about how things will be handled, if it’s not to my liking and I don’t get what I want in a timely manor there are other options
People that have handed cash over, over a year ago do start to lose their patience
For the record, my dealer has never lost his temper with me
If you think my comments are bashing then you obviously don’t hold much value on your money…as I stated, I’ve been just as tough on my dealer here…80k is a lot of money, it takes a huge amount of time to earn, it’s a huge investment, I’m spending my money…not the dealerI think what this thread needs is a Canadian and Australian Salesperson with some guts on here so us Americans can bash them over things out of their control.
I understand that, I’m just stating the fact…I’m asking tough questions here as well…like I said it’s a lot of money to spend, I want to know what is going on. Particularly as here we have all paid depositsWe all have our own things going on. My remark though I quoted your comment, wasn't centered at you.
You don't have to apologize for asking questions. What was bugging me is the back handed comments that are uncalled for from multiple people. Constructive criticism is something I invite, we learn from our mistakes. However comments like " look even the info about mileage to gas was dropped by another poster… " what does that accomplish? I commented on the thread stating how I wish I had been the one to post it here but I was beaten to the punch.Look I didn’t want to cause trouble…was only asking real questions about how the dealerships will handle things…I’m hugely disappointed that it’s turned into this, was never my intention.
Therefore I have discovered there is an option to ignore posts by posters and I am going to use it
it’s not like we are getting any information here anyway, and I have enough in my life to feel bad about other than a dealer in the US who dosent want to answer honest questions, that I have appeared to upset.
For the record I’m sorry if I did upset you, wasn’t my intention …but I’m not sorry I asked what I did, because anyone sprnding a huge chunk of money should be asking questions…and lots of them. I feel any dealer who was here for the right reasons would have been open to any questions, especially as that is what @McLovin157 stated in his first point.
for now I will, hit the ignore button.

Just found out we are currently guaranteed 2 Z cars for 2022 as of current. Hoping for better news I’m a few weeks![]()
As was to be expected. My dealer is getting upwards of 10 but they represent 5 dealerships and funnel the GTR/Z through one and Q50/Q60 through a second. It is a hard business to be in right now. What OP posted on FB yesterday.
Hoping to move some of the units coming to our sister stores but that will depend on what we can trade for them. Honestly I just really want Nissan to allow us to place orders for the Z and not wait till 2023.As was to be expected. Better to under promise and over deliver. And not the other way around.
