Nissan Plastic™
Plastics in general have been made to deteriorate faster in every facet, from action figures to cars. It is what it is, people like to knock on going green without realizing that biodegradable stuff was not in the cards twenty - forty years ago.I feel like the 370Z had better quality interior tbh
Right, a $1200 door panel. So I have two of those, then four pieces in the middle. Those are $500-$700. So for a cool $3,000 I can get rid of 6 pieces of fabric.Plastics in general have been made to deteriorate faster in every facet, from action figures to cars. luckily they do sell spare parts or carbon replacements.
Well to be honest, as an alternative you could buy these interior partsRight, a $1200 door panel. So I have two of those, then four pieces in the middle. Those are $500-$700. So for a cool $3,000 I can get rid of 6 pieces of fabric.
I’m getting desperate enough to start looking for junkyard cars. I hate my interior, and I’m a cloth interior person. This cloth is the dumbest stuff I’ve seen in 36 years of driving. Even way worse than the buttery junk Honda plastics.
Hey man, next time use a NSFW tag - some of us are at work and interior porn is frowned upon.Well to be honest, as an alternative you could buy these interior parts

But I agree, I’ve seen some parts on evilbay and it’s close to OEM pricing

Any pics? That sounds interestingI place a Velcro cloth on/near the wear areas and it works well. Especially if a contrast color.
This may not be to everyone's liking but I bought one of these for the steering wheel:I knew the micro suede interior bits were going to be a dirt magnet from other cars I've owned. I'm also not a fan of shiny leather parts. I bought a pair of driving gloves and use them while driving. It keeps the wear down on the steering wheel and shift knob, and helps to keep the matte finish. I had the factory leather Recaros in my Mustang and learned that moving the seat all the way back for getting in and out kept my steering wheel, door cards, and seat bolster wear and scuffing down. I now do the same in my Z.
The meter hood is really the only thing I want to upgrade on my performance, it's really hard plastic. I have seen a few pieces that were stick on covers, but this one appears to be a full replacement, not sure how hard that would be to do? The price is nuts, about $700 US, and 2.5 months time to make, but it looks nice, that with the arm rest would really set the car off. I just don't know if I hate the meter hood enough to spend $700 on that on piece Z-SPORT N.S インテリアシリーズ RZ34 メインメーターフード | Central20Well to be honest, as an alternative you could buy these interior parts

Recently visited Central20 in Tokyo and their products are very high quality, so if you're questioning it... it's top notch! All hand made and they are really professional. The meter hood is really the only thing I want to upgrade on my performance, it's really hard plastic. I have heard they make quality stuff, but If I am going to invest $700-1k in the car, I am not sure it's going to be an interior accessory. I might be able to justify if it was $300-mayb $400, but If I get the meter hood, I need to get the arm rest, you know the drill.Recently visited Central20 in Tokyo and their products are very high quality, so if you're questioning it... it's top notch! My understanding is that a lot of Fairlady Z owners in Japan get the sport version and modify it, which makes sense for them to update the meter hood and the entire interior trim to a superior cloth design. I have blue leather and thought about it but I’d rather focus on the carbon trims at the moment.I have heard they make quality stuff, but If I am going to invest $700-1k in the car, I am not sure it's going to be an interior accessory.
