Wireless Android Auto would be nice. I started the update yesterday but never checked if it was completed, when I got where I was going.... I've "blown" 3 Motorola MA1 adapters. For Android Auto. Two replaced under warranty. One left maybe Papa Nissan will give me the update. Yesterday!

Who's Z did they add wireless Android Auto to? Cuz I'm still waiting. I've been waiting on Hyundai to bring their wireless adapter to the US market

I connected to WiFi using my phone as a hotspot, but then the UI did a bunch of unexpected stuff. It seemed to download something very quickly and then give me this screen:

So then I turned the car off and on again, and went back to check for an update, and there was another one.

This one is taking a lot longer, download is at 19%...

I’ve seen some Japanese YouTubers with android wireless adapters on their z but haven’t seen it listed

Hmm. So the update seemed to have finished (I was eating dinner, so I wasn't watching it), but the "software version" field is unchanged at 283C36712E.

The map version changed from 17330_7_7 to 17330_7_17.

I rate this update as: meh.

For my '23 it seems like it was just a map update, which, while appreciated, doesn't really add any cool new features.

Wireless android auto? I have a 24 performance (USDM) and I do not have wireless android auto. Carplay maybe, but I don't have an iPhone to verify. I ended up buying one of those AAWireless adapters and it was..okay, kind of a pain to switch in between phones at times so I haven't used it much. Would probably be easier if I didn't need to switch phones occasionally.

In case this helps anyone, I used this in my 370z and it also works in the new Nissan Z. It clips onto the center console and you place your phone there and it won't go anywhere. I mention this because I wouldn't use wireless android auto anyways because it doesn't charge your phone. I forget the company and product name off the top of my head but if anyone's interested please ask and I will find out for you.

It’s weird that the it‘s only wireless for carplay but not android.

At least Nissan added Android Auto, the Supra doesn't have it at all.

Every program starts off as Linux/Unix. Which is a free platform to code programs. And all Apple products are based off that platform. It makes sense why AC always gets first dibs with less glitches over AA.
