Not entertaining exhaust at this point, but every time I see OEM exhaust in that state (above) I’m reminded of how tiny the tubing is. It does its job. Not complaining. But it looks more like a bent coat hanger than a sports car exhaust.

But does it?

Let's go! Those resonators are much larger then the ones on the Spool. Get them on asap and report back. I am removing my Spool DP's soon, just need to get a set of the B6A. How's the quality look??
Quality looks good; resonators are much beefier than the Spool's which is the main thing I was looking for. Everything appears jigged together & aligned well. Outlet flange seems a bit thin but the B6A gasket quality is very nice (they include 2.5" "adapter" plates as well, similar to what AWE includes with their catback). One small dent in one of the pipes but nothing I'm going to worry about. TBD on bracket fitment. I plan to wrap then in DEI Titanium this weekend and get them installed a week from today on Friday, April 4th.

Sound good, let us know how it goes.

I may jump ship as well. From Spool to B6A. They both have the "4 inch" resonated full dps that intrigue me. The difference is going to be based on if they bolt up to the bracket or not.

Yea, to me if the B6A bolt to the bracket I’m in. I have the Spool
Resonated lowers and brackets don’t line up, there is annoying rattle at like 3500 rpm, and it’s gotta be the lack of a bracket since nothing is touching.

The lack of bracket isn't going to cause a rattle, but it could be something lose or the frequency causing a resonance somewhere. The only thing a bracket is going to do is prevent the possibility of eventual strain on the welds after repeated heat cycles. But, a quality stainless steel weld (MIG or TIG), shouldn't fail during the vehicle's lifetime regardless of heatcycles and reasonable stress. The failure point on these LDPs will likely be the resonator internals.

I consider brackets a nice to have item, but by no means critical and nothing I'd lose sleep over if that's the only complaint someone has with the Spools. Sad to see mine go with that 1800F thermal ceramic coating...

im not sure I agree with this, not having the pipe supported can create a resonance vibration that manifests as a vibration or rattle in the cabin. All things being equal that’s my opinion, I’m going to give the B6A a shot and see how they sound. Keep in mind the bracket isolates the resonance and or vibration. Without the bracket it’s got nowhere to go. I guess we will find out, let us know how yours fits

Yup all good. Just speaking from my experiences, but of course we're all free to try whatever parts we prefer regardless of the reasoning. If these B6A LDPs are quieter with a functional bracket, then they'll clearly be the superior product which likely justifies the higher price tag for most buyers. Let's hope they meet our needs in all aspects!
