Australian Nismo version passenger and drivers seats are exactly the same, unlike the US version the cushion on the passenger side is shorter so it uses the same shorter cushion as the performance models.
In Australia it's the proper Nismo cushion.

I have a Canadian spec Z in the US, and I HATE that it does not have an OFF option for the headlights. It's only ON or AUTO, I'm fairly certain the US Spec Z's can still turn the headlights fully off. Others have already mentioned this, but even on the performance trim the Canadian Zs get the smaller 8 inch screen and do not come with wireless android auto or apple carplay. I live in northern MN, so the one thing I do like about the Canadian spec Z is that is has a block heater in it. Hopefully I will never have to drive the car in the winter, but if I do I know it will start no matter how cold it is.

Can you post a picture of the block heater, please?

Here you go!

I've never used it, so I had to dig around to find it, but it was tucked away beside the engine, still wrapped up in a zip tie.
It is also a way longer cord than I expected. Will reach a couple feet past the front bumper.
I have to wonder how many people will ever actually use this feature. The Z is not exactly a great winter car. And as far as I know most regions do not get a block heater as an option.

AU and possibly other regions get New Sight Orange, while North America only got that color as part of the Heritage Edition. Also Midnight Purple as a limited edition in Japan.

Was the Heritage Edition made and sold in other regions?
I love that color, similar to the OG 918 orange on the 240Z, would have ordered it, but we only get this on the Heritage edition which I don’t like the split bumper and other add-ons.

Toll collection device.
Quick question; I was watching a handful of fairlady z videos from Japan and noticed that a few z’s infotainment nissan connect screen turns on and off instantly without the animation, like mine gives me the vehicle data warning everytime it loads. Is their software completely different or am I missing a hidden setting?

US lawyers. If you figure out a way to eliminate the data warning screen, you would be much appreciated.

Mine was built in Tochigi Japan a year ago. I bought it last month in NJ

Does anyone know if this a JDC or an American version built in Japan?

It's a US-spec built in Japan.
My first 350 ('03) was built at the Oppama plant, but sometime during the Z33 run they switched to Tochigi (possible my '05 was Tochigi). Pretty sure every Z34 and RZ34 produced has come from the Tochigi plant.

Thanks for the info. My cousin is a Nissan Corporate guy and I bought his ā€œcompany carā€. He was texting me about the car and it got me to wondering. I’m flying out next Wednesday to NJ to drive it home.

That is an interesting difference. I wonder why this is.
