Freedom from what? Freedom from not killing other people by infecting them?

Why is it that you willingly take other vaccines and medication, you drive on the right side of the road, you don't steal from your boss, you actually work at the task you're hired for, you put in 40 hours...etc, etc, etc.

I don't hear anyone shouting about losing their freedom about that.

DeathSantis has indirectly killed over 66k Floridians due to his Trumpian criminal behavior.

'nuff said. We're doomed.

At least your governor isn't a hypocrite and gathered with friends even after telling people not to, and let's not forget about the one that likes to grab women who sent COVID positive patients back into nursing homes.

Omicron represents a positive trend to end the COVID pandemic.
This flu-like variant dominates other more deadly variants.
COVID virus is not going away after such a wide spread globally.
Best we can hope for is for it to become less deadly ... i.e. flu-like.

Wrong. The Delta variant, which is much more contagious, continues to ravage the world with devastating results. It'd be much, much worse without vaccines.

Our regular flu is a descendant of the Spanish Flu. H1N1.

Up to 1/3 of the world's population in 1918 was infected by it. At least 50 million died from it. And then it settled into the background, endemic and less deadly.
