I was looking at the Z1 install instructions. looks like you have to get under the car even to install these?

Fedex just advised that my Z1 CAI's should arrive today (in Brisbane, Australia). Only ordered a week ago :D

Didn't end up getting the engine cover or the other strip, as it would have literally tripled my shipping costs... I'll get them on the next sale.

Just a quick question, reading the install instructions from Z1 (which are pretty good btw), it says that a jack/stands are needed, and toward the end it says to bring the car down off stands... doesn't give instructions to put it up anywhere, and I would have thought that all of the install could be done from the top of the engine. Am I missing something?

Their shipping is crazy. I got it in 3 days. You being in Australia, a week time is pretty good if you ask me

My intakes and engine cover arrive tomorrow. I'm also in Ontario, so really dreading the invoice for duty fees 😥

Sounds like from the instructions this is why.. .

" Place a small worm gear hose clamp on each end and install Z1 intake tubes on their respective turbo inlet (as shown). The intake tubes can be hard to install. Silicone spray is highly recommended. You may need to remove your undershroud to get a better view to see if the intake tube is fully seated on the turbo inlet. Tighten hose clamps at turbo inlet "

Other than that, I can't see any reason to raise the car

Nice!
Let us know how it looks and handles in the end.

I'm so tempted to get the Z1 carbon parts for a fancy engine bay!

But I'm loving the look/reputation of both Blitz & HKS
Torn!!!

Wanted an all JDM car/parts.
But already bought MAP downpipes and catback exhaust hahahah
I’m in the same boat and want to go straight JDM with everything. But as far as exhausts go, I LOVE the sound and look of the Z1 single exit and mate that with 3” downpipes from either AMS or MA Performance (also not JDM).

I'm with you man - Americans get the sound just righttttt
Got the full MAP DPs & Exhaust waiting for install!

Personally not a fan of the single exit look - but love that gnarly sound.

For everything else i'd love to go JDM; have been eyeing the parts coming out.

If I were to get a single exit, I have a basically brand new Raybrig R0-41 rear fog light I was going to install in the other opening. I did it on my S2000 I had back in the day.
Did you get the catted full downpipes?

Bahah, I had to open the box for mine to take a pic. Only to pack up and stack in the corner Lmao
Hahha too much work for a measly picture!
I'm stoked, getting the car within a matter of weeks and visiting a new garage who I hope will be helping with some of the work.

Nice Top Secret look like a great shop, plus the history with the founder.

I saw a picture floating with the Blitz carbon housing and filter, that looked amazing!
