I have down pipes and exhaust already, so CAI will just compliment those. I know they don't add much gain in power, but they do add gain in the sound. I just want to hear a bit more out of those turbos!
Kind of surprised AMS hasn't released a CAI yet for the Z! My question is, with other parts from the Q50 and Q60 being the same for the Z, has anyone (or anyone seen) someone test fit a Q CAI into a Z?
Checked mine today, and it seems to be affected by this 😥 Does anyone know how they are fixing it? Are they replacing the entire bumper if the paint is chipping already?
I'm really hoping that because they have been so good they will do my downpipe install for me while the transmission is being replaced. Would save allot of headaches getting to that v-band on the turbo! Will find out Friday.
I don't think this is true in Canada, last year when I was looking around (window browsing) I came across a C8 with an MSRP of 90k, and they were asking 130k. I think they get around it by the "suggested" retail price
So I learned today that the car was manufactured in March, but they sat at Port not allowed to be sold because of the transmission issue. The dealership is waiting for the transmission (brand new complete unit) to be delivered so they can change it out. I was thinking I might have them install...
I ended up going with MAPerformance. I listened to allot of different brands on both the Z and Q60 and I liked the aggressive sound of this brand best.
Confused with this post, ordered in 2022 for a 2023, so is there any difference getting a 2023 model in 2023? Honestly just confused at the logistics 🤷♂️
Yes, and no. Papers are signed, and the car is officially mine, but I made a deal with the dealership that benefits both of us. Because there is 4ft of snow where I live, and they love to salt the roads, it won't be driven until the spring. The dealership agreed to keep it in the show room...
