CITIZEN x NISSAN Fairlady Z Watch

I really want one of these watches but I’ve already way overspent on time pieces this year. Plus I’ve already dropped a lot of money on my Harley. I really need to spend some money on the Z now.

But I am really envious of you guys getting this watch. Post up your photos of them on your wrist when they arrive!

I'm impressed with how quickly it made it through customs with FedEx! Beautiful piece; came with all original paperwork and plastic wrap intact. Ultra lightweight like my other titanium watches. After taking the pictures, I forced the radio signal update and the time/date/daylight savings time auto set to local CDT.

That surprised me a bit too! Perhaps only 100 of the 1,700 were in the yellow?

There are two versions, numbered and unnumbered.
The unnumbered are packaged differently and were linited to 1,700 of each color (blue and yellow)
The numbered are in a special numbered box with a key fob case/cover. Only 100 of each color were numbered.

WOW! Mine didn't come with the fob case (I wondered what that empty slot in the box was for), but regardless makes me feel like I got even better of a deal! I've registered the serial # with Citizen and everything comes up legit.

Keep the box and paperwork because the watch isn’t numbered. Although It’s possible the serial number can be traced back to a numbered vs unnumbered one.

Interesting that the color is called "ATTESA Yellow". ATTESA is the name of Nissan's awesome AWD system. I don't understand why they applied it to the yellow name.

Only way to get ATTESA on this chassis is to get a Q60

Attessa is the original model name of the watch itself.

Nissan's ATTESA is an acronym, which I knew, but had to look up what it stood for.
"Advanced Total Traction Engineering System for All-terrain"

Yes you can buy Attessa model watches without the Z branding, interestingly they are more expensive than the Z watches.

The 100 numbered watch boxes are the ones that were sold at Nissan's headquarters in Japan, they individually numbered the boxes, 100 of the blue and 100 of the yellow.

Unfortunately non of the watches carry individual numbers.

Mine is sitting in customs in Memphis, waiting for uncle Sam's stamp of approval.
