Nah they're allocating far less cars per capita to U.S. dealers becuz ADMs. ?
Haha. In this economy, the manufacturers can say what they want, the dealers will still do whatever they want to do..At the end of the day, they'll get a slap on the hand, and move on to next crazy markup. the $20k+ markup on 2022 Supra 3.0 Premium still has me shocked to how bad dealers in CLT are

Dealer didn't seem to know what was going on. Called them today, and the sales manager seemed to think I was making a fleet order, then had one of his sales people call me back about buying a van...

Sales guy said they had taken 4 pre-orders before this launched and I was 5th, but I was lucky as they come in batches of 5 :) (I'm sure bud). Hopefully they don't gouge too much above MSRP or I'm going to cancel the reservation. They said late May I could have mine!

In Canada dealers cannot charge above MSRP.

Half of me is thrilled y'all are able to make some progress in getting a Z, whereas the other half is tearing my hair out for you over how disorganized the process is. Talk about communication breakdown between the mothership and dealerships, sheesh

That's good then. I can tolerate MSRP plus destination I think LOL. I wonder if these are gonna go way above MSRP in the states like the Supras have been.

Pre-Ordered mine from a dealer in the Toronto area on Monday.

Performance spec in Seiran Blue, with blue interior. Obviously, it will be at MSRP.

I received the C&I Z reservation form with proof of payment, though still waiting on the confirmation email from Nissan.

Fingers crossed it will arrive by late April, just in time for the snow to disappear for good. Dealer says May-June more likely though (and that's if it's not delayed again lul...)

It's ILLEGAL for dealers to mark the price up in Canada, at least I know this is 100% true for a pre-order and might even be true for normal orders as even my local BMW dealer isn't doing markups...and that's BMW.

So rest assured, your pre order will not be marked up.

If your interested ..take at look at the “Hand up all the Aussies“ thread, you will see that the same thing happened with us, and im afraid to tell you, four months on, the dealers still know nothing.
The only thing that’s changed is they finally are aware that there is a reservation list…when it first opened, like you guys the dealers had no idea that it had opened.
Come on Nissan, can you at least keep your dealers in the loop?

I just sent an email to the Nissan reservations desk asking them to confirm that the dealer confusion at my selected dealer (see OP) has been resolved.
Never heard from them - then I got this message from the Outlook mail admin:

Just how many screwups can Nissan make? I will try sending the email from a non-outlook account and see what happens....

I emailed them as well. But it’s Nissancanada.com?

I would just give them a call, 1-800-387-0122 you may have better luck.
I think that's the generic Nissan customer service #, they probably know about as much about these reservations as my chosen dealer does lol.
