Exactly, need to review the cost per horsepower benefit. Anything can be fast as long as you throw enough money at it.this is going to be an expensive package the heat exhangers alone are about 2 k
A "tune" on the current Supra is cheaper than the Z?Yup. Supra is definitely more cheaper to put down 500 to the wheels without spending a crazy amount. A tune and some downpipes you are already in the low 500s.
$5570 to achieve 480whp on current Supra....A "tune" on the current Supra is cheaper than the Z?
I thought that the current BMW ECU requires an expensive hack?
Unless I'm missing something, that was on E40 whereas the AMS Z was running 93 0ctane.$5570 to achieve 480whp on current Supra....

100 octane, Heat Exchanger/Intercooler, Full Down Pipes and 500WHp on RWD..lol..dangerous...but need to see how far they can go with 93octane
if you mean the top graph that was with 100octUnless I'm missing something, that was on E40 whereas the AMS Z was running 93 0ctane.
Ecutek on a Supra costs $1,200.A "tune" on the current Supra is cheaper than the Z?

Did you see my post #9? Just back in May that guy paid over $5500 to get 480whp on flex fuel. The ECU unlock alone was over $2k. And I searched those forums, people are still waiting for the ECU unlock capability to be available in the USA.Ecutek on a Supra costs $1,200.
With just a tune, you are at 420-480 to the wheels. A Bmw B58 Stage 2 turbo + downpipe are around $3k total. You are close to the 600s.
You can get an unlock and BM3 Stage 2 OTS Tune for $2500 now. More affordable options have been released for post-2020 ECUs.Did you see my post #9? Your pricing seems to indicate a pre-2020 BMW ECU?
Neither one of these vehicles are as cheap to modify as their proponents keep suggesting.....
